Year 5 have really enjoyed Science this week; this half term Year 5 are learning about forces. Pupils have been measuring forces using a force meter, comparing weights in the air and in water. Pupils made careful predictions and used scientific vocabulary to explain their results. Year 5 have also enjoyed learning about tectonic plates in Geography and how our Earth’s crust is like a giant jigsaw, which can cause earthquakes and volcanoes to erupt.
