Year 6 enjoy guided reading every day, this week Year 6 have been reading ‘The Boy Who Met a Whale’ by Nizrana Farook, picking out suspense features. They have also continued to practice sketching features of Whitby and have used water colour pencils to add colour. Artist John Freeman has been an inspiration; they have finished parts of his work. Next week Year 6 will be starting their own pieces of artwork inspired by Whitby.
