This week Reception children have been exploring writing and mark making in many different forms. Outdoors children have been using large brushes and rollers to make marks on a large scale. Indoors children have been drawing and writing. During literacy this week, children have been taught how to build a sentence. As a class they have created a simple sentence. They have then been taught how to hold the sentence in their head and find the correct words. Some children have even had a go at writing the sentence down.
