Year 2 pupils have been using their mental maths facts to solve addition and subtraction calculations. This week, children investigated which materials were the best to use as a sail for a pirate ship. Pupils have started their Art lessons, inspired by portraits of explorers they are using tracing to build their skills for drawing their own portrait. Next week they will be learning how to draw their facial features, such as eyes, nose and mouth.
