Year 6 have finished reading Room 13 this week, they loved reading about how the main character Fliss defeated Dracula. They have also explored whether Dracula is real, researching about a historical and fictional character. Some Year 6 pupils enjoyed training for their new roles across school, including Tiny Tots Leaders and Peer Mentors, they can’t wait to begin!
Year 6 are preparing for their first mock SATs, which will take place the first week back after half term. These papers are just a practice and to help teachers to plan learning. Our next topic in Year 6 will be all about World War 1, starting with the assassination of Franz Ferdinand – we know Year 6 can’t wait to dig trenches in our woodland!
