Year 5 have finished reading The Firework Maker’s Daughter, they have completed a quiz and have really enjoyed the story. Year 5 have completed their final Hurricane art pieces and invented amazing warning tales to finish their natural disasters topic. Year 5 also hoisted a staff member up into a tree in our woodland using a pulley system!
Next half term Year 5 will be exploring the Anglo Saxons and the Vikings, looking at settlements, invasions and battles! Year 5 will also enjoy taekwondo and cycling lessons every Thursday during our Great Opportunities sessions.
