This week 3 year have started their new topic on Colour, they are focusing on the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? By Bill Martin Jr and Eric Carle. This week the children have been familiarising themselves with the story, learning the repeated phrases and learning about the different animals. In maths the children have been matching objects to the correct colours and sorting for colour. In creative the children have been using their knowledge of how to draw a circle and then learning to add further shapes and detail to shapes to create a bird. Ask your child to tell you what animals are in the story, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
