Don’t miss the chance to practically learn about WW1

Year 6 started the week with a special assembly announcing the winners of our poster competition. Our Year 6 leadership group have been assigned classes who they will support during some assemblies; they will be helping all pupils to have a voice and feeding back their ideas. Year 6 have been researching World War 1 soldiers to support their epitaph writing. Next week we will begin our woodland trench experiences, where pupils will take the role of a soldier, digging trenches, helping wounded soldiers in our hospital and cooking soup in a tin! We know that the descriptive writing will be amazing following these sessions!
