Year 5 are writing overcoming a monster stories in English, inspired by Beowulf. They are sketching monsters in their art lessons to support their writing and will be practicing different features this week and next week. Year 5 have been learning about multiplication and division, to end this unit in maths they will be taking an end of unit assessment to show what the have learnt. Year 5 are also reading Viking Boy as their class novel, which they are very enthusiastic about, Year 5 can’t wait to find out what happens to the characters next!
