Year 2 children were very excited to share their learning with their parents during GLEE. They were able to show their skills in Reading and the importance of love for reading. During Maths the children worked in partners to reinforce using their bar models to solve simple part-whole problems as well as to find a difference. The pupils were also able to plan their fire story using the facts they have learnt so far. Next week they will be independently writing it up and showcasing all their skills and knowledge gathered about The Great Fire of London. This will also be inspired by science investigation testing which materials burn the best.
