This week provided many practical learning opportunities for Year 2 students. They have been developing their skills in measurement to measure lines and objects around them. They were tasked with calculating the length of a mystery line when it was longer or shorter than a given line and used bar models to help them. In English they were re-enacting the Great Fire of London scenes and becoming volunteers helping to put the fire out. They tore the houses down to make fire breaks and used water to put the fire out. Next week we are looking forward to performing for our parents in the Performance of Light.
