In contrast to the chilly weather Year 1 pupils started our new story called Handa’s Surprise which is set in a hot part of the Africa continent. Children have been excited by the different animals in the story. And even more excitingly we all actually tasted the seven different fruits in the story. Mango was a favourite, with the passion fruit looking the strangest but still tasting good!
We wonder if any of our children will work with fruit and food as we think about our futures during next week’s Aspiration Week.
