What a fantastic week Year 6 have had! Year 6 have begun their new learning about World War 2. Pupils have retrieved their knowledge about WW1 and considered the causes of another war. Pupils have learnt about the Battle of Britain and about the Blitz, they have created some stunning pieces of artwork capturing a night of bombing over London. Pupils have also begun their new class novel Blitzed by Robert Swindells, a story about George who travels back in time. Next week pupils are excited about aspiration week, where they will be taking part in a ‘Guess My Job’ event, thinking about their own dreams and goals for the future.
