This week, Year 3 children enjoyed the launch of the Stone Age topic which has sparked their curiosity to find out more! In literacy, they have been learning a portal story where the main character goes through a portal and ends up in the Stone Age. In maths, they have explored the commutativity of multiplication, using language to explain equivalent calculations. Next week, they are looking forward to learning more about the Stone Age, cave painting and acting out the role of a hunter gatherer on our Woodland Day! Year 3 are also excitedly looking forward to their Stone Age workshop at Cliffe Castle.
