Year 6 have enjoyed aspiration week this week, thinking about their futures. Year 6, along with the whole school, created vision boards thinking about their aspirational careers, places they’d like to visit and their dreams. Year 6 have also been continuing their learning about WW2 and will be looking at some real artefacts borrowed from the Otley War Museum. We are also very proud of the effort Year 6 gave in the first Maths booster session this year; we know that this extra time is very valuable in supporting all learners who attend. Next week, Year 6 will be interviewing Diane Fairfax about her father’s journey on the Kinder Transport during WW2, building Anderson shelters and baking using a war-time recipe!
