What a week we have had in Year 2! We kicked it off with an effective glitter experiment to represent germs around us and teach us how to wash our hands and keep us healthy. Later in the week, we were visited by an inspirational and motivational speaker, Steve Cunningham, who used his story of losing his eyesight to inspire the children to never give up and have a successful life. Finally, we continued learning about keeping ourselves healthy and gained a better understanding of the importance of a varied diet. Next week we are looking forward to finishing our landscape art and publishing the work in school!
