This week, Year 2 students enjoyed a series of hands-on Design and Technology lessons focused on healthy food and food preparation. They learned how to safely peel and cut fruit for eating and had the chance to get creative by designing their own kebabs as their final project. In their last English lessons of the week, the children wrote instructions on how to be a great student at school. In Maths, they began learning about fractions, exploring how to count in halves, thirds, and quarters. After the holiday, we’re excited to explore mosques, both near and far, and look forward to a trip to a local mosque.
