This week in Reception children have focussing on developing their fine motor skills. To build up the muscles in their fingers children have been encouraged to use scissors to develop their scissor control, play with playdough and manipulate it into different shapes and sizes and to use tweezers. These activities allow children to further develop their pincer grip building strong foundations to be able to write.
