Every audience member felt lighter and happier after watching the wonderful performance in Year 1 and 2 this week – a performance sharing the festivals happening at this special time – Diwali, Hannukah and Christmas – all with light in common.
Every single child shining on the stage, whether they were acting, singing, playing an instrument or narrating, they made families and the school team very proud. Performances are always magical, but this year seemed even better. The many narrators clearly and confidently delivering memorised speeches, the actors making sure their movements were large enough for everyone to see, the instrument players keeping precise timing so the songs were brilliant and everyone singing along with such joy to festival related songs as well as our school anthem – Heaton is my home.
