We welcomed our excited Year 2 children back after the holiday and the snowdays! They quickly got involved in learning how to make arrays in Maths which is a fundamental skill used to understand how multiplication works. In English, they have learnt to include comma lists to enhance their writing with a longer, more complicated sentence structure. Finally, they are very excited to learn more about the landscapes in and around their local area. They have been recapping their map skills from Year 1 and learning the locations and the purposes of significant buildings in Bradford City Centre. Next week they are looking forward to the Aspiration Week activities which will inspire them to learn more and work hard to achieve their goals for a successful life.
