This week Year 3 have planned and written an instructional text on ‘How to care for a Stone Age animal.’ They effectively used toolkit features such as time adverbials, imperative verbs and hints and tips to write a great set of instructions which was followed successfully by others in class. In maths, pupils have been learning how to divide two-digit numbers by one digit and used this information to solve division calculations for larger three-digit multiples of ten. Pupils have thoroughly enjoyed learning about Pedestrian Safety and are looking forward to next half term’s topic – Ancient Egypt, Rivers and Settlements.
