This week in Reception children have developed their knowledge and understanding further through their growth topic. Children have been learning about the parts of a plant and what a plants need to grow. Children have been planting their own seeds this week and are excited to watch their plants grow over the next few weeks. We have planted a variety of seeds for different flowers and for some vegetables that include turnips, radish, and onions. Over this half term we will be learning more about plants and their lifecycle. As Springtime approaches, we will be talking about seasonal changes. If you get the opportunity to take a walk with your child, talk to them about what changes they can see in the outdoor environment. We would love to see- share a picture of what you find on Seesaw!
